The attorneys for a man convicted of raping and murdering a 15-year-old girl in Indiana in 2001 are asking the Indiana Supreme Court to reconsider its order for his execution. The execution date for Roy Ward is Friday, Oct. 10, before sunrise. Ward's attorneys want the court to rehear a challenger to the method of execution and for the court to issue a stay of execution.
