Gov. Mike Braun has appointed a new official and tasked them with finding ways to save money for Indiana's utility ratepayers.
Hoosiers have seen electric bills going up for years. According to the Indiana Citizen's Action Coalition, the average bill went up by 17.5% in the last year. That's an extra $28 a month on average.
