"My guess is we're going to see a special session coming," said former mayor of Fort Wayne, Paul Helmke, who now teaches at IU's O'Neil School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Helmke expects Gov. Mike Braun will call a special session, but the question is when. Braun has said he's waiting to hear from state lawmakers about whether they think redrawing Indiana's congressional district maps is the way to go before he would decide whether to call a special session.
