IMPD is investigating after a person was injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' near northwest side Sunday morning. According to IMPD, around 1 a.m. Aug. 31, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, near West 29th Street. When officers arrived on scene, they said they found a person shot near a liquor store. The victim was taken to a local hospital initially in critical condition.
