A Texas school district is mourning the death of one its high school football players after he fell ill during conditioning drills this week. Sophomore Preston Malone died early Wednesday at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, more than 24 hours after being admitted when he was suffering from a heat-related illness during practice at Lancaster High School.
