Description

Police say a man, who had just gotten off work on the northwest side of Indianapolis, has died after a shooting Tuesday night. According to IMPD, it happened in the 5400 block of West 81st Street, not far from Zionsville Road, around 10 p.m. Aug. 19. Officers investigating a report of a shooting found a man who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.
