Description
The Indiana Department of Health is urging new parents to protect their baby after a surge this month in deaths from unsafe sleeping.
In August, health officials said there have been 10 infant deaths related to unsafe sleep.
According to health officials, suffocation caused by unsafe sleep environments is the third leading cause of death for all Indiana infants.
