IMPD officers are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash on the city's southwest side Thursday morning. IMPD Southwest District officers responded to a report of a personal injury accident around 11:10 a.m. Aug. 14 at Denison Street and West Troy Avenue, near South Lynhurst Drive. Officers arrived and found a man who had been hit by a car. Medics transported him in critical condition to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
