Indiana State Police are investigating the death of a 10-year-old child found dead in a vehicle in Delaware County. The child was found Thursday evening, Aug. 14 in Selma, Indiana, about four miles east of Muncie. The Delaware County Sheriff's Department confirmed they were conducting a death investigation on East Jackson Street. That investigation was later turned over to state police.
