Description
Of the massive $1.7 billion 2026 Indianapolis budget, introduced Aug. 11 by Mayor Joe Hogsett, Metro Police is set to get more money than any other department — $398 million.
It's an increase of more than $20 million from last year's budget.
IMPD Chief Chris Bailey expressed his support for Hogsett's budget in an interview with 13News Tuesday.
