Description
Voters in Hamilton County could have a lot more freedom to cast their votes in the next election; at least when it comes to where they cast those votes.
The Hamilton County Election Board is considering a major change to how voting is done on Election Day. Under the proposal any Hamilton County resident could vote at any of the 52 voting centers around the county.
Currently, voters must cast their ballots only in their assigned precinct location.
The process will begin with a public meeting of the HCEB in the Hamilton County Commissioner's Courtroom in Noblesville, at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
