The Farmers’ Almanac has released its extended winter weather forecast for 2025–2026, and if the outlook turns out to be true, much of the U.S. could expect a season of “chill, snow, repeat.” The 200-year-old publication says the cold and snow of winter may show up as early as September in parts of the country, long before the official start of the season on Dec. 21, 2025.
