2025 Colorado flooding update today, Oct. 14. Southwest Colorado: Heavy rainfall in Pagosa Springs and La Plata County has caused significant flood damage. Evacuations prompted by flooding brought on by heavy rainfall in Archuleta County are expected to be lifted Tuesday, while some evacuations in neighboring La Plata County remain in effect. Flooding began early Saturday morning and has damaged 90 homes near Vallecito Reservoir.
