Dr. Jane Goodall, the famed chimpanzee researcher, has died, the institute in her name announced Wednesday. She was 91. "Dr. Goodall’s discoveries as an ethologist revolutionized science, and she was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world," the Jane Goodall Institute said in a statement. he organization added that Goodall died of natural causes while in California.
