Description
High school marching bands across Colorado were preparing for another competitive season with the crucial support of parent volunteers who handle everything from fundraising to equipment management, helping students overcome financial challenges while building lasting communities.
At Centaurus High School, the Marching Warriors' 90-member band relies on their parent booster club, which manages a budget of approximately $190,000 while receiving only $2,200 from the school district, said Lori Winslow, president of the Centaurus High School Parent Booster Club.
