More than three months after the death of a Colorado gray wolf, an investigation has determined it died due to injuries sustained in a suspected crash. On May 31, Colorado Parks and Wildlife was notified of the death of male gray wolf 2507 in northwest Colorado. Due to the species' status under the Endangered Species Act, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) began investigating the wolf's death.
