McDonald’s is adding a golden twist to its menu just in time for fall. On Sept. 3, the chain will debut its new Special Edition Gold Sauce, a limited-time offering described as “a harmonious blend of vinegary North Carolina BBQ sauce, infused with notes of honey, smoke and mustard.” Customers will be able to try the new sauce on the side for dipping, or featured on four chicken menu selections.
