After six consecutive days of high fire danger, Colorado saw its first day without a red flag warning on Sunday, giving firefighters a much needed reprieve in their battle against the Lee and Elk fires. As of Sunday, the Lee Fire was more than 106,000 acres, making it Colorado's sixth-largest fire in the state's history.
