In the tropics, Tropical Storm Gabrielle is becoming better organized in the central Atlantic Ocean. It will likely strengthen to a hurricane in a few days as it moves northward. It is set to pass east of Bermuda but they should still keep an eye on its progression for potential impacts. Gabrielle will stay in the open ocean for its lifespan and bring no impacts to the United States. Farther out in the tropics, the National Hurricane Center is highlighting one area of low development odds in the distant eastern Atlantic Ocean. Models keep this disorganized in the long run, but time will tell. There are no tropical concerns for the Gulf Coast over the next week.
