There is one spot (Invest 91) to watch for tropical development in the Atlantic Ocean. It is drifting slowly westward in the central Atlantic waters and is expected to develop into a more well-defined storm by later this week/this weekend. The National Hurricane Center gives this spot a "high" chance for tropical development in the coming days. Models indicate that it will approach nearby the Caribbean Islands late next week. Beyond that, it is too soon to know the details of how things will go. Stay tuned to the latest updates. There are no tropical concerns for the Gulf Coast over the next week.
