20 years after Katrina, survivors, activists & neighbors filled the Lower 9th Ward levees — where the floodwaters rushed in — to honor lives lost, reflect on the city’s resilience & demand action.
In true New Orleans fashion, the remembrance became a second line, a joyful, musical expression of resilience, culture, and community.
