Aerial shots of the town of Al-Eizariya, also known as Bethany, east of Jerusalem, and surrounding land on which Israel will establish the major settlement project, known as E1. The plans for the roughly 12-square-kilometres would bisect the West Bank which is home to around three million Palestinians, as well as about 500,000 Israelis who live in settlements that are illegal under international law.
