In an "unexpected and radical" artistic surge, the Munstrum Theatre company storms into Paris with its explosive energy, arresting visuals and surreal poetry, unveiling its apocalyptic take on Macbeth at the Rond-Point Theatre (Théâtre du Rond-Point). Blending war-film-style battle scenes, grotesque characters, offbeat humour and punk-tinged revelry, the production offers a whirlwind reinterpretation of Shakespeare's tale of a tyrant's bloody rise and descent into madness - a story that, co-founder Louis Arene notes, resonates starkly with a world he describes as "harsh, violent and absurd".
