Description
A rare snow storm hit Atlanta, GA in January 2014. The entire city shut down without any ability to plow and maintain the roads. In an attempt to capture the rare snow at Sweetwater Creek (20 miles from downtown ATL), I spent 3+ hours in the car slowly navigating through the road closures, ice, and accidents along with 6+ miles of walking and hiking to gain access to the closed state park. This shot is the result of that effort. It's amazing what only 1-2 inches of snow will do in the southeastern United States.
