Time lapse from unaltered photos taken by astronauts. HighRes NASA JPEGs muxed into PhotoJPEG video without re-encoding and post-processing. This clip retains 100% of original image quality including camera artifacts.
ISS flying in Earth's orbit from southern Pacific Ocean, west of southern South America, to the northern Atlantic Ocean, west of Mauritania in northwestern Africa. This fast video features the stars over the western hemisphere. Astronaut Don Pettit explains the type of long-exposure tactics he uses for this type of time-lapse sequence. (av21533u)
