      State Representative Bakari Sellers announced that he is running for Lieutenant Governor. [TAKE VO] {***VO***}      The Democrat is serving his fourth-term as a member of the House and says he made this decision to take the next step after the legislature's inadequate performance this session.      He says the state can do much better.      Sellers will make a formal announcement in the next few weeks.      Current lieutenant Governor Glenn McConnell's staff says he has not yet announced if he intends to run for the position.
