~ Dancing with Fire ~
This is my most creative project so far when we talk about photography and video. This is basically the burning of a steel wool in slowmotion.
It is so important for every artist to search new ways of expression. Lately I've been impressed deeply by slow motion, so I decided to try this and see what happens. Especially enjoying the flames jumping around when the steel wool is burning.
I was lucky, as there was snow on the road reflecting the light of the fire. It is of great importance to indicate that there was no chance of putting a fire because the trees were extremely wet.
This is a really hard task to complete, so much attention and safety needed, in order to avoid any injuries and of course not to risk anything and harm the environment.
For this video I used the Nikon D850 in combination with Nikkor Af-S 14-24 F /2.8 G.
